On July 14, 2024, MPZ4 at the age of 19, launched his first batch of graphics, which quickly gained traction online. Originally, this first collection — still under its preliminary title — was intended to be a one-and-done drop, created with the simple goal of putting something out into the world. Even years later, despite its minimal design, simplicity, and clear lack of refinement compared to later work, people continued to revisit this collection, giving it a lasting presence beyond its original purpose. Later on, after speculation about whether more would follow, MPZ4 revisited scrapped ideas from MZXIV.01 and got back to work.
PFPs — A collage of various images MPZ4 used as profile pictures around the time, serving as the first graphic featured in MZXIV.01 besides the cover.
REFLEX REMIX — A recreation of an old banner MPZ4 used, featuring both his Fortnite outfit and the “4” emblem.
QUIXOTIC PERFORMANCE — A light brown vinyl featuring various names, a stylized title, and abstract shapes, wrapped in a protective sleeve sealed with tape that reads “PERFORMANCE”.
The old banner, which dates back to early 2022.
THANK GOD — The first graphic created under the “THANK GOD” title. In 2025, another version or recreation — was made for the steel sunset collection, referencing the Travis Scott track “THANK GOD,” which was also the song used in the original post.
ALBUM — A worn brown vinyl marked by age and repeated use, featuring “I love you” in Japanese across the top of the record sleeve, alongside a Counter-Strike Howl sticker layered over a grey star. Alongside the last graphic "THANK GOD", this one also received a recreation for the steel sunset collection in 2025.
NIKE/BTTF2 — The first of many transitional slides featured throughout these collections. The piece begins with an almost galaxy-like, pineapple and mango-tinted cloudy atmosphere on the left, blending toward the center into a pixelated Nike logo. As the composition meets in the middle, the logo shifts into a high-definition version before transitioning into a stylized, 1980s California-inspired graphic beneath a still from Back to the Future Part II, where Marty McFly rides the iconic pink Mattel hoverboard.
THE LOST ARK — A desert-like ancient map design featuring stylized text reading “THE LOST ARK” beside two artifacts. In the bottom-right corner, the piece includes an image of Al-Khazneh, also known as The Treasury, a historic location in Petra, Jordan, famously used as a filming location for Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.
GATO WORLDWIDE — The beginning of the end of this journey. This piece incorporates work from artist @dodleyz, who created the upper half of the graphic for Travis Scott’s UTOPIA Zine collection. The composition features Earth from afar, surrounded by various creatures and beings, with scattered scribbles toward the bottom. In the bottom-right corner, MZXIV is signed off as the final post.
